   In a rush and ate to work or to an important event? Get into the magicall yellow cabs in NY and the'll drive you anywehere(for a price of course). I'm not promoting or advertising anything but I just want to express my excitement when I visited NY for the first time and saw these yallow taxis everywhere. Maybe for some is quite normal but from my point of view, they were just great if you want to add something to a picture. Take this one for example.

     ENG: Going to the seaside has been always a good reason to have a stress releaf and enjoy the beautiful weather while you lay on your lounge and listen to the waves. When we mention the word "seaside" we usually think of the beach and the sea. There are a different types of beaches but the most common ones are the sandy and rocky ones. Well, the beach above, even though it is a bit rocky, it has a special and beautiful element: the colourful spring flowers. No wonder it is a charm to listen to the music of the sea while having this nice landscape in the front of your eyes.


       RO: Vacanțele la mare au fost si vor fi întodeauna un motiv bun să scăpați de stres și să vă bucurați de vremea frumoasă întinzându-vă pe șezlongul confortabil și acultând valurile mării. De obicei când menționam cuvântul „mare” tindem să ne gândim la plajă și la apa mării. Există multe tipuri de plaje dar cele mai comune sunt cele de nispi sau pietroase(cu pietre). Ei bine, plaja de mai sus, chiar dacă este puțin pietroasă(cum noi românii suntem obisnuiți cu nisipul de la plajele noastre), are un alement deosebit: florile colorate de primavară. Nu e de mirare ca este minunat sa asculți muzica mării în timp ce privesti acest frumos peisaj.

ENG: Just a simple snowdrop - the last one standing in the garden. A very brave soldier if you ask me. He endured the wind, the cold, the rain and yet he stays there, in the corner of the garden, proud that he managed to show us the spring has come.


RO: Doar un simplu ghiocel - ultimul din gradina. Un soldat foarte curajos dacă mă întrebați pe mine. El a îndurat vântul, frigul, ploaia si totuși el stă acolo, într-un colț al grădinii, mândru ca a reusit sa ne vestească primăvara.

ENG: A nice photo that shows a bird resting on a branch of the tree, carying new materials for its nest. The contrast of the photo was modified a bit in order to obtain richer colours.

RO: O fotografie drăguță care arată o pasăre ce se odihneste pe o creangă din copacul înflorit, carând de asemenea noi materiale pentru cuibul ei. Contrastul fotogrfiei a fost modificat un pic pentru a obține culori mai vii.

ENG: This is a grasshopper caught in the middle of the "lunch". Fortunately he continued eating like no one was watching. It took me about two minutes to spot this insect and I did it with the help of my family who showed me that there was actually something on the flower bouquet outside the house. I couldn't observe it because it was very well camouflaged: it was green like the the strain of the flowers.This photo was not modified.


RO: Acesta este un cosaș prins în mijlocul „mesei de prânz”. Din fericire el a continuat să mănânce fiind indiferent la faptul că cineva se uita la el. Mi-a luat aproximativ două minute sa observ această insectă si până la urmă am reusit cu ajutorul familiei mele care mi-a aratat că în acel moment chiar se afla ceva pe buchetul de flori de lânga casă. Nu puteam sa îl observ pentru ca era destul de bine camuflatȘ era exact la fel de verde precum tulpina florilor. Aceasta fotografie nu a fost modificata.

RO: Aceasta fotografie a fost facuta in orasul Patras, Grecia, la un superb apus de soare. Ce poate fi mai frumos decat sa stai in apa calda a Mediteranei sa vezi un apus minunat si sa te distrezi impreuna cu familia sau cu prietenii. Poza nu a fost de loc modificata decat la stergerea unor persoane gratie tehnologiei Adobe Photoshop CS6.

ENG: This photo was taken in Patras, a city in Greece, at a stunning sunset. What could be more beautiful than staying in the warm water of Mediteranean watching an amazing sunset and having fun with your family or friends. This photo was not modified at all, I only deleted some people using the great Content-aware Move tool from Adobe Photohop CS6.

ENG: Just a macro photo of a bougainvillea which is a genus of flowering plants native to South America from Brazil west to Peru and south to southern Argentina. Bougainvilleas are perhaps the most popular and one of the most widely grown tropical vines. The Bougainvillea often has spiny, cascading stems which end with colorful bracts of red, orange, purple and other shades to shield small white, inconspicuous flowers. The photo was not modofied at all.

RO: Doar o poza macro a unei bougainvillea care este un gen de plante cu flori native din America de Sud din Brazilia pana la vest, in Peru si in sudul Argentinei. Specia Bougainvillea este probabil cea mai populara si cea ma cultivata panta agatatoare in zonele tropicale. De obicei la bougainvillea se intalnesc tulpini subtiri si in forma de spini care se termina cu niste ramificatii la care se gasesc florile de diferite culori precum portocaliu, alb, rosu sau roz. Poza nu a fost modificata in nici un fel.

ENG: This is a picture of the full moon taken with a smartphone with  camera of 8 magapixels. A better version is work in progress or has been already posted on the site. The photo was not modified besides a bit at the luminiosity(almost unsignificantly).

RO: Aceasta este o poza cu Luna plina care a fost facuta de un smartphone cu o camera de 8 megapixeli. O versiune mai buna este in lucru sau a fost deja postata pe site. Poza nu a fost modificata decat foarte putin la luminiozitatea(aproape nesemnificativ).

ENG: In this image which I took rapidly while walking on the streets of Isghl, Austria, we can see a lantern/lamp which was standing on a barrel near a restaurant. The photo has just some minor temperature and exposure enhancements.

RO: In aceasta imagine pe care am facut-o rapid in timp ce mergeam pe strazile din Isghl, Austria, putem observa un felinar/lampa care sta pe un botoi langa un restaurant.Fotografia are doar cateva modificari minore la partea de temperatura si expunere.

ENG: In these two pictures we can see two water droplets that are about to fall on the ground and vanish forever. The reason I took them is to show how perfect these water droplets can be and how interesting is their shape when fall on the earth because of the gravity.

RO: In aceste aceste doua fotografii puteam vedea doua picaturi de apa care sunt pe cale sa cada pe pamant si sa dispara pentru todeauna. Motivul pentru care le-am facut este pentru a arata cat de perfecte sunt aceste picaturi de apa si cat de interesanta este forma lor atunci cand cad pe pamant din cauza gravitatiei.
